I'm Amber Guevara

My name is Amber Guevara. From the center of my being, there is an infinite light that yearns to create. With my hands I brush watercolors, oils, and mold sands to create stories of dreams.

I believe water and sand both hold memory. Shaping the sand with my hands is a magical experience.

As a young girl I have always loved to paint. I have a weakness for the vibrancy and brilliance of color, like opals. Moving pigments with my brush imprisons true radiance, much like a rainbow. The intimacy is unexplainable between myself, and my creation.

I grew up along the beautiful Pacific Western Seaboard. I have always been pulled to the ocean, just like the tides. Over the past four years I have been living in Hawaii. The creamy white beaches are my treasured beaches to sculpt.
